Why This Couple Opted to Fast Track Their Wedding

Wedding preparations can be a long and strenuous process. From wedding decor to finding the perfect outfit, most of the couples I work with take at least a year to plan their wedding. This was not the case for Dinah and Alan.

The wedding was originally planned for 2016, but Alan was about to start a new career out of province, and they wanted to start their new life together as newlyweds. Dinah sprung into action right away, and with the help of her Matron of Honour Brandi (who’s wedding I had photographed two years prior), had their wedding planned in just 2 weeks.

Dinah and Alan were married February 28th, 2015 on the rooftop deck during sunset at the Boathouse Restaurant in White Rock, BC. It was a romantic and beautiful setting for a wedding ceremony.

We were fortunate enough to have stunning weather all day, with sunny skies for their couple and wedding party photo, and a bright colourful sunset for their vows.

Taken at Stewart Farmhouse on Crescent road, Dinah and Alan opted to do their wedding and couple photos prior to the ceremony. It can often be difficult to photograph the bride and groom before they say “I Do” because they are nervous and of course we need to keep the dress clean before the ceremony. This was not an issue for this lovely couple. They were so relaxed, Dinah and Alan were a dream to photograph and it was easy to capture their love for each other.

Congratulations on your marriage Dinah & Alan!
